Using L'Hopital's rule find the limit if exists of;

lim x->1 (cosx)/(pi-2x)


I got (sinx)/2
but i am not sure about this> Can anyone help me out

Most students forget the usual first step in any Limit question, and that is to substitute the approach value into the expression.
If you get 0/0 then you have a limit question that needs some work
If you get a real number, that is your answer and you are done

so lim (cosx)/(pi - 2x) as x ---> 1
= cos 1/(pi - 2)
= .473288
