What is Uds? the abbreviation for?
you (formal) plural
right!!!! now which of those verbs is the only one that can go with that?
If you know how to conjugate ANY regular verb, you should know! Here is the verb saber. Memorize it and use it as a "pattern" except the yo form is irregular.
yo sé = I know, do know, am knowing
tú sabes = you, singular familiar
él/ella/Usted(Ud./Vd.) sabe
nosotros/nosotras sabemos
vosotros/vosotras sabéis
ellos/ellas/Ustedes(Uds./Vds.) saben
For the abbreviation for usted (you, singular, formal = you) and ustedes (you, plural, formal = you all) the original expression was "Vuestra Merced" (your Grace) so the first abbreviation was Vd., picking up the first and the last letter of the expression. Later, it was modernized to Ud. but you might still see the other abbreviation in literature, etc.
