Two bumper cars collide and then move away from each other. How do the forces the bumper cars exert on each other compare?

If both bumper cars were to be going at same speeds, after their collision would cause both cars to move away from each other (since they both are carrying the same amount of force, they exert their force into the other causing them to move away at same speeds.
