The path of a cliff diver can be modeled by a parabolic curve. The regression equation matching one particular dive is h(t)= -4.9^2+4.6x+24.8 h is height t is time in seconds
at what point in meters did the diver reach maximum height?

I assume you mean
h(t) = -4.9t^2 + 4.6t + 24.8
you know the vertex of the parabola is at t = 4.6/9.8
plug that in for t to get h(t) for the max height.
h(t) = -4.9t^2 + 4.6t + 24.8
you know the vertex of the parabola is at t = 4.6/9.8
plug that in for t to get h(t) for the max height.
