I chose this quote because it made me think about trust and how sometimes people who seem like friends can end up not being good for you. In the story, Percy is starting to make friends at Camp Half-Blood, and it reminds me that friendships can be complicated. It also makes me curious about what will happen next and who might betray Percy. It shows that even when you’re around people who are like you, you have to be careful and pay attention to who really has your back.
