finding me a trip = would you like a different word order, such as: finding a trip for me...?
accidentaly provocked = spelling is "provoked"
self satisfaction = as a noun this is hyphenated = self-satisfaction
doing the housework = you would probably hear "doing housework" more often

I'm not quite sure now, but I believe I actually wrote "listen to the others' advice", the original sentence being "écouter les conseils des autres".
"Doing the housework" is probably the British way of saying it, I've always seen it written this way in my English books and I've just checked in my dictionary :) I guess it's fine, all the more so as the teacher is British :D
