= O de dos mil ( why this way ??)

Estuve = I got (action when it first hit) OR estaba = I was (description) ( where and why?)

any other suggestions or changes - thanks again

I am going to princeton this summer for the johns hopkins program - thanks for all of your help.

marzo del dos mil. = O de dos mil

Estuve = I got (action when it first hit) OR estaba = I was (description)

why the o

and where does the second one go and is it estuve or estaba
Colunbus, Ohio = Columbus

de O de dos mil. ? = del año dos mil

This is not correct as another one I corrected! What I was trying to tell you is that estar in the Preterit (estuve, etc.) has a special meaning, like "llegar" = to get/to arrive. It is best to NOT use it.

Estuve sorprendida = Estaba sorprendida, etc.

Pedi vi = I asked TO SEE; just as in English, you need an infinitive = Pedí ver

los bebes = this word always needs an accent = los bebés

O = OR

Hopefully you have all the corrections now. It gets confusing to read the same paragraph more than once or twice.
