The figure is made up of 2 indentical triangles, a 15 inch by 12 inch rectangle & a square of side 19 inches. What is the length of 1 side of each triangle if all the sides of the triangles are equal in length?

The rectangle needs 2(15) + 2(12) or 54 inches
the square needs 4(19) or 6 inches.
So far we need 130 inches, leaving 90 for the 2 triangles.
For the two identical equilateral triangles we need 6 equal lengths or 90/6 or 15 inches for each side of the triangle
