March 5, 1770 there was a shooting causing three men, and injuring eight which that event was called the boston massacre. The boston Massacre was basically “a street fight” between a “patriot mob”. Then in december of 1773, the Boston Tea party had occurred, which had caused the Boston Harbor shut down until the chests of the companies teas were paid for. The actions of the causes in 1774 were also known as the intolerable acts in American colonies “to punish the colony of Massachusetts bay” for the actions of the Boston Tea party.
