I don't wanna give you the answers, but I can show you how to solve these kinds of problems:
To add fractions, it's easier to make them into improper fractions and then make the denominators the same. Let's take your 3rd problem for example (1 7/8 + 1/9). 1 7/8 becomes 15/8. A common denominator for both 9 and 8 is 72, so 15/8 becomes 135/72 and 1/9 becomes 8/72. Now it's so much easier to add them because all you gotta do is add the numerators. Your final answer would then be 143/72 which would be 1 71/72 as a mixed number. You can use this same method for subtracting fractions. Hope this helps.

Anytime!
517.3 km = _ m.
to do unit conversions multiply by somethting that makes the units come out
like
(1 meter/1,000 mm) or (1,000 mm/1 meter)
or
(1 km/1000 meters) or (1,000 meters/ 1 km)
so
517.3 km (1,000 m/km) = 517,300 m
