If I have 2.5 amylase stock solution, 2.5 PBS Buffer, and final amylase concentration of 25 [ug/ml] , how do you calculate the amylase dilution factor?

1 answer

I forgot to mention that the volume of the amalyse stock is 50 ug/ml. and 2.5ml amylase stock and 2.5 ml buffer.......so i think I should take:

50ug/ml/5.0 ml = 10

The the dilution factor is 10x

Is this correct do you think?
