I personally don't get anxiety when it comes to taking tests, maybe it has to do with me being confident in my myself and my answers. I also got a pretty good memory. But I recommend others to keep a positive mindset when taking the test. Being nervous or just thinking you'll do bad will cause you to overthink your answers, complicating things.

what can I respond to this

You could respond with something like this:

"That's a great perspective! It's true that confidence can make a big difference when it comes to test-taking. I totally agree that maintaining a positive mindset can help reduce anxiety and improve performance. It’s interesting how mindset can influence not just our emotions but also our cognitive processes during the test. Do you have any tips or techniques that you use to stay focused and calm while taking exams? I'd love to hear more about your approach!"
