I need a thematic statement from the 3rd and 4th acts of The Crucible. I am having a hard time coming up with one though. A thematic statement is structured like this; Topic + what it says about the human condition, motivation, and/or human behavior.
The theme statement cannot contain characters, titles, authors, or absolutes, and should be a compound sentence at minimum. Also NO cliches.
Heres an example to help:
LOVE makes people do desperate things that they wouldn’t do under normal circumstances.
Thank You so much in advance for your help! Its really appreciated!!!

What is the theme of the play? What is Miller describing in THE CRUCIBLE? What motivates his characters to act as they do? Why are they all hunting for witches? What effect does their witch-hunting have? Are innocent people caught up in the witch-hunt? Or are people evil just because someone says they are? What's going on here?
what about Justice as Topic? Act 3 in particular is the court room scene. That would tell you a lot . What about . " Justice is something which any society ...."
Im happy to look at your response if that helps .
