I have a question about Shakespeare. I know that he wrote many plays, (about 37) and that they all could be classified as comedy, tragedy or histories,
but
Which type of classification is often cited with Shakespeare's greatest plays?

I thought it might have been tragedies!! Is that right?
I would say tragedies, too. I think that's something of a personal opinion, though, since others prefer the history plays, and still others prefer the comedies.
