1 yard = 3 feet. First calculate the area of the floor. a=12*20 a=240 square feet Convert the square feet into yards. 240/3= 80 square yards. Calculate the cost. $8.91 * 80 square yards = $712.80 It will cost: $712.80
Try: 56 = n + 2/5n
Use the FOIL method to expand it out. Google search it; it might help. (-6c)(2-3c) becomes: -12c + 18c^2 From here, you can factor it out or whatever it requires.
Yes, you could say "Nous avons regardé le coucher du soleil" or use the imparfait: "Nous regardions le coucher du soleil"

Very helpful! Thank you! As another part of the same type question...what if they have to be selected in a certain order (1 nickel, then 1 dime, then 1 quarter) as opposed to a nickel, a dime, and a quarter in any order? Thanks for your time!

There is a site on the Clark-Pleasant Academy, which is an alternative-type school in Whiteland, Indiana (and a part of Whiteland High School). Students there must volunteer 2.5 hours a week and can do so at a variety of places such as a retirement home, another school, a food pantry, etc. You willl find the sire if you go to cpcsc.k12.in.us Go to academy, then programs, then to volunteer opportunities. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!
-2/3x times -4/3 equals 12 add 4/3 to both sides -2/3x = 13 1/3 multiply both sides by -3/2 x = 40/3 times -3/2 so x = -20
I'm a little confused by this. What is the answer to #1 or is 2x^2-4x+12 remainder -26 the answer? If so then how do I solve for #2? I'm sorry just some things come out funny when typed.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Marvell’s garden, that place of solitude, is not where I’d choose to live yet is the fixed sundial that turns me round unwillingly is a hot glade as closer, closer I come to contradiction to the shade green within the green shade. The garden where Marvell scorned love’s solicitude – that dream – and played instead an arcane solitaire, shuffling his thoughts like shadowy chance across the shrubs of ecstasy, and cast the myths away to flowering hours as yes, his mind, that sea, caught at the green thoughts shadowing a green infinity. And yet Marvell’s garden was not Plato’s garden – and yet – he did care more for the form of things than for the thing itself – ideas and visions, resemblances and echoes, things seeming and being not quite what they were. That was his garden, a kind of attitude struck out of an earth too carefully attended, wanting to be left alone. And I don’t blame him for that. God knows, too many fences fence us out and his garden closed in on Paradise. On Paradise! When I think of his hymning Puritans in the Bermudas, the bright oranges lighting up that night! When I recall his rustling tinsel hopes beneath the cold decree of steel. Oh, I have wept for some new convulsion to tear together this world and his. But then I saw his luminous plumèd Wings prepared for flight, and then I heard him singing glory in a green tree, and then I caught the vest he’d laid aside all blest with fire. And I have gone walking slowly in his garden of necessity leaving brothers, lovers, Christ outside my walls where they have wept without and I within. How vainly men themselves amaze To win the palm, the oak, or bays, And their incessant labours see Crowned from some single herb or tree, Whose short and narrow-verged shade Does prudently their toils upbraid; While all the flowers and trees do close To weave the garlands of repose! Fair Quiet, have I found thee here, And Innocence thy sister dear? Mistaken long, I sought you then In busy companies of men. Your sacred plants, if here below, Only among the plants will grow. Society is all but rude To this delicious solitude. No white nor red was ever seen So amorous as this lovely green. Fond lovers, cruel as their flame, Cut in these trees their mistress' name. Little, alas, they know or heed How far these beauties hers exceed! Fair trees! Where’e’er your barks I wound, No name shall but your own be found. When we have run our passion's heat Love hither makes his best retreat. The gods, that mortal beauty chase, Still in a tree did end their race: Apollo hunted Daphne so, Only that she might laurel grow; And Pan did after Syrinx speed, Not as a nymph, but for a reed. What wondrous life is this I lead! Ripe apples drop about my head; The luscious clusters of the vine Upon my mouth do crush their wine; The nectarine, and curious peach, Into my hands themselves do reach; Stumbling on melons, as I pass, Ensnared with flow'rs, I fall on grass. Meanwhile the mind, from pleasure less, Withdraws into its happiness - The mind, that ocean where each kind Does straight its own resemblance find; Yet it creates, transcending these, Far other worlds, and other seas; Annihilating all that's made To a green thought in a green shade. Here at the fountain's sliding foot, Or at some fruit-tree's mossy root, Casting the body's vest aside, My soul into the boughs does glide: There like a bird it sits and sings, Then whets and combs its silver wings, And, till prepared for longer flight, Waves in its plumes the various light. Such was that happy garden-state, While man there walked without a mate: After a place so pure and sweet, What other help could yet be meet! But 'twas beyond a mortal's share To wander solitary there: Two paradises 'twere in one To live in Paradise alone. How well the skilful gardener drew Of flowers and herbs this dial new; Where from above the milder sun Does through a fragrant zodiac run; And, as it works, the industrious bee Computes its time as well as we. How could such sweet and wholesome hours Be reckoned but with herbs and flowers!
I've posted both poems, since "Marvell's Garden" by Phyllis Webb is related to Andrew Marvel's "The Garden"
Thank You

"In response to concerns about Axia College" I am currently a student of Axia College University of Phoenix and I will obtain my associates in psychology in April 2009. I contacted Oklahoma University to see if my credits will tranfer from Axia into their online Bachelor's program (which has the same requirments as on campus) and they said that all of them will transfer. Personally I think people who are not familar with online education is critical of it. I have no complains with Axia. Do not let all the negative comments scare you. An employer wants someone who has made an effort to improve their education no matter whether it is online, or on campus. Good Luck.
Well, Ariel, What they mean is like write the same expression except you are sudstituting the variable they gave you. For example if they say Write this as an expression 5Y+9=29 YOU HAVE TO SOLVE IT LIKE THIS OK WHATEVER YOU DO TO ONE SIDE YOU HAVE TO DO TO THE OTHER SO YOU ARE GOING TO PUT A MINUS SIGN UNDER 9 AND CANCEL THAT OUT. WELL, YOU HAVE TO CANCELL THAT OUT BECAUSE WE WANT THE VARIABLE TO BE ISOLATED WHICH MEANS ALONE THEN AFTER YOU MINUS 9 FROM 29 AND YOU GET 20 SO NOW YOU BRING DOWWN THE 5Y AND NOW YOU PUT A LINE UNDER 5Y AND THEN CROSS OUT BOTH 5'S SO THAT THE Y IS ALONE AND THEN YOU PUT 5 UNDER 20 BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW I SAID WHATEVER YOU DO TO ONE SIDE YOU DO TO THE OTHER WELL, SEE HOW YOU PUT 5 UNDER THE 5Y YOU ARE PUTING 5 UNDER 2O NOW U DIVIDE 5 DIVIDEED BY 20. SO YOU ARE ASKING YOURSELF HOW MANY TIMES OES 5 GO INTO 20 WELL 4 TIMES SO THE ANSWER IS Y=4. IS THAT HELPFUL ENOUGH FOR YOU IF NOT WRITE BACK IF YOU CAN AND I'LL GIVE YOU AN EASIER PROBLEM. tHANX AND BYE FROM DANIELLE A.K.A DD FRESH

I would think that if you draw a line to represent the middle of the mounain and then draw a line 42 degrees to the right, then draw a nother line 38 degrees to the right. Because the height of the mountain is 1900 m, then you can just divide it by 100 to get 19 cm and then when you find where the line meets, times the amount back by 100 to get what measurement in m, the straight line is. I hope that helps. :D

Bob is really excited about next year at the university, which starts in two weeks. But his parents just dropped a bombshell: he is going to have to buy all of his own clothes for the fall semester. On no, he has never paid for his own clothes! And he really wants more od his favorite blue jeans. Well, at least he knows his own tastes! And bob wants lots of pairs so he won¡¯t have to do laundry between visits home! Then bob looks at his tattered and outdated sneakers and wonders how long they will last. What good are great blue jeans if the sneakers are too weirds? Sigh. Time to do some research and figure out how to manage this. Ok, bob thinks, I can figure this out. I¡¯ll just fet on the internet and find what I need to know. I wonder what the prices of blue jeans are these days? Perhaps the web site of a certain company will have some imformation about the jeans and prices . Hmmm, company L has lots of great graphics and information, but it doesn¡¯t post prices. Wonder why? Bob finds another web page that explains a bit about L¡¯s policies on retail pricing of jeans. This is useful information which tells Bob that he needs to do some price comparing. A bit more searching and there they are¡ªthe western srore, denim blue jeans discounters, and even bluejeans company in UK¡ªyhe prices of exactly what he wants in both new and used. Additional sites can be found by using search engines. What are the range of prices from these outlets? Allright, bob is ready to think about how many pairs he can buy. Oops, he¡¯s not quite ready to plan how many pairs he can buy.¡± let¡¯s see,¡± thinks bob ¡°two more weeks of work before school starts and the part-time job has been paying an income of about $200 per week. No way can I buy the 8 pair that would last from one home visit to another without hitting the laundromat. And then there is the issue of new sneakers( related goods). Time to be realistics! For sure my rich sister Jackie won¡¯t help me! Maybe I could talk to my boss, Tina, and work a few more hours to increase my expected income. Hey, I¡¯ll bet they¡¯ll have a ¡®back to school sale¡¯ next week and expected prices will be lower. Maybe I should wait to buy some of the blue jeans.¡± Bob works an extra five hours this week and the blue jeans prices do come down by several diollars. He manages to buy 4 new pairs of blue jeans, nes sneakers, and the shoe store throws in a new T-shirt to promote their sale. Bob has a gloriously successful first semester in his blue jeans and his economics class . Tasks 1,review Bob¡¯s decision process. What are these elements or determinants of amount purchased? 2 consider each of these elements or determinants individually( one at a time): if that determinant increases, how does that affect the amount of the good that is purchased? Actually I need to write an essay about 1500 to analyze this case. And this essay should analyze all the related economic knowledge, including these two questions. But I don¡¯t even know what the two questions¡¯ meaning and don¡¯t know what kind of economic knowledge are reflected in this case. So I need help and thanks a million.

I thought it might have been tragedies!! Is that right?
So if the question asked which group forms only 2+ ions, the answer would be group 2 because it has 2 outermost electrons? And we know it has 2 outermost electrons based on the group number?
are the answers t=0 or t=6/ln2
So where does the 2+ ion part of the question come in? Or does that even matter, do you just work them like you would if it would have just asked which atom is paramagnetic?
Thank you very much i understand now. When you do the electron configuration do you just have to know what order it goes in? Like memorize the aufbau chart or is there a trick?
Okay, if you guys are just looking to get laid, they have dating sites for that stuff so quit posting sexual comments on this site!!!!! As for anonymous, thank you for your help!!!!

I'm writing an argument paper on school uniforms. I have wrote a thesis statement and need to have it checked. Any tips to improve would be helpful. Thanks! School uniforms should be required in all public schools because not only do they cut down on the testing and bullying but they also help students have a better focus on school, and save parents money on clothes.

Well, adding all the marbles together, 3 green marbles and 6 blue marbles, you would get 9 marbles in the bag altogether. If you place the marble back into the bag after drawing it, the probability of getting a green marble would be 3/9, or 1/3 of the bag. If you wanted to get a blue marble, your chances of getting it would be 6/9, or simplified, 2/3. I hope that helps :)
Thank you so much! It's a short presentation. I have to do a couple of power point slides with it as well. The instructions my teacher gave me were very vague. I have asked for help and she basically said do it on whatever you want and do whatever type of document you want. So, here I am with a paper on COPD.
The paragraph doesn't make sense to me. Therefore, I'm having a really hard time "paraphrasing" it. Here's how I rearranged it. Please tell me if I'm doing it wrong. Thanks so much! Human motivation is challenging to inspire and quantify. Psychologists, teachers and business leaders have developed innumerable theories to help define and encourage motivation. However, careful study of motivation eventually dictates learning about goal-setting. An exception to the effectiveness of goal-setting is when the goal is not feasible. For example, if you’re a middle-aged person with no exercise history, setting yourself the goal of running a 10-kilometer race in a year is an achievable goal. In contrast, the goal of running a marathon in a year is less achievable—and may be dangerous. In the workplace, extremely high goals cause people to cease to cooperate with coworkers or cause overall job performance to suffer. Commitment improves the likelihood that you will achieve your goals. Two factors influence your level of commitment. External pressure is embodied in an authority figure. A peer group can also be an authority figure. The authority figure encourages or threatens you if you don’t achieve. Internal pressure includes your expectation of success and rewards you give yourself along the way. Goal-setting is a reliable motivator. Having a goal usually leads to better performance than not having a goal, even if you don’t achieve your original goal.

hey Mrs. Sue is just trying to get people to do their own work. its so lazy that you guys have to sit here and copy everyones work for every test.
you need to find the force, but you already have the impulse. So, since the formula deltap=J, and J=F(deltat). You take the impulse 4.53 and divide by the time in seconds, .034s to find the force. the force would be 133 N
Thank you so much for your help! But just one question what does CCW mean? And once again, I appreciate your help immensly!

forget about that last question haha
the formulas you gave didn't give the right answer, or at least not the same answer as they gave in the back of my textbook... any idea why this may be?
