I figured out problems 1-7, arithmetically (thank you all for the help on that) But not number 8:

f(x)=5/x , g(x)=7/(x+7)

#7). Find (f/g)(x)
Answer ==> [5(x+7)]/[7x]

#8). Find the domain of (f/g)(x). (enter your answer using interval notation)

1 answer

#8 the domain is all real numbers except 0 and -7

While the domain of [5(x+7)]/[7x] excludes only 0, (f/g)(x) requires evaluating both f and g, and since g(-7) is not defined, neither is (f/g)(-7)
