Hydrogen sulfide burns in the presense of oxygen producing sulfiar dioxide and water
I got HS + O2 >>> SO2 + H2O
Its not balanced yet, but can you check if i wrote the equation right? Does the hydrogen sulfide need charges added to them?

hyrogen sulfide is H2S. The products are right.
so it does not need any charges? and isnt that an acid?
I got for final answer as 2HS + 3O2 -----> 2SO2 + 2H2O
How can you get 2HS ==> etc when I gave you the correct formula for hydrogen sulfide as H2S?
H2S + O2 ==> SO2 + H2O which isn't balanced. And what is what an acid? H2S is an acid in aqueous solution. SO2 is an acid when added to water to form H2SO3.
