Ohh I'm sorry, The problem was 2a^2b -16ab+32b So should it be So should I factor with 2b?
16 years ago
is it suppose to be an inequality?
16 years ago
well they all share 2 like you said so 2(a^2b - 8ab + 16b) that makes it the perfect square trinomial But I have no idea how to factor that. If that b was gone from the a^2b, than I can do it, but with the b there, i have no clue.
16 years ago
Who wait, but i thought you cant factor using b because ab is a term by itself
16 years ago
Well if your talking about the 2a^2b its 2a^2 * b the exponent is only with the a. So does that mean 2b can factor?

Yeah, We got a white powder. So I guess our new substance would be MgO. I think it should weigh more. Am I right? but it shouldn't weigh much more right? probably around .05g more? Does that sound about right?

Also, she asked me to write any chemical changes that occurred. If I mention the color changes, the texture, and the mass, would that be consider chemical changes?
16 years ago
What would be consider a chemical change besides MgO?

I'm thinking maybe the sparked it made would be a chemical change when it was being burned. Is that another a example of a chemical change? I need one more chemical change. So far I got: 1. Changed from Mg to MgO 2. Made spark when burning 3.

Also, is the white powder a chemical change? since color changing is a chemical change.

Thanks alot! Your examples helpes me.

x = 1-4y 2x+7y=3 Starting with the first equation since x = 1 - 4y Plug that in to the second equation 2(1-4y)+7y=3 2 -8y + 7y = 3 2 - y = 3 2/2 - y = 3/2 - y = 3/2 Since why can't be negative, move the negative over to the other side y = -3/2 Okay we fou...

Oh sorry, I did my math wrong and Divided instead of subtracting.

Do you know who they are? or if they are online at the moment?

Reiny, after working it the first 1 over, i got .016 How would u work the second one? can you show me steps by step?

Ahh okay. I didn't get it at first, but now that I read it, I got it. Thanks alot!

Thats weird. I just learned this today, but on side has sulfur and the other side does not.

Thanks. Can you explain to me when I have to add charges to my the thing? and when I can't?

I think its 2FeBr3 + 3(NH4)2S --->> Fe2S3 + 6NH4BR

Why don't u use cross multiply Mg with OH and have MgOH2 ?

C3H8 + O2 ----> CO2 + H2O That is the same problem on the worksheet I am looking at right now.

UHmm.. it releases energy in a form of light that you can see in the sky.

The only way to balance polyatomic ions is to use paranthesis?

I answered that in your last post.

product?

did the problem give you points because I think that's slope intercept form.
16 years ago
I don't know. I don't understand your question.

I think its that arrow ----> But i do not know what its called.
16 years ago
ohh wait its the + sign which means reacts with.

if their slope is negative reciprocal to each other, then they are perpendicular.
16 years ago
Graphing is by far the hardest, UNLESS you have a graphing calculator, then its very easy. It all depends on how you want to work it. I cant really tell you the best way of doing it.
16 years ago
Go look back on your post, I've answered this already.
16 years ago
if their slope is negative reciprocal to each other, then they are perpendicular. Dude what the hell is wrong with you?
16 years ago
Well, it doesn't hurt to scroll down and look. You posted it like 100000 times, and it got really annoying because there are also others who have their own questions. I kind of lost my temper, sorry.

Thanks alot. I was not sure what how to write nitrous oxide.
16 years ago
so it does not need any charges? and isnt that an acid?

I got for final answer as 2HS + 3O2 -----> 2SO2 + 2H2O
