I'll try to help in a general way. What were Johnny's relationships like BEFORE he started to live with Rab? Have they changed in some way? Would the changes in those relationships reflect a more mature attitude on Johnny's part? Has he grown in any way (intellectually, emotionally, socially)? Even if I knew the story, your teacher doesn't want to know what I or any other tutor thinks, he or she wants to know what YOU think.

Ah, okay. Please do give the author and title when you have questions about literature. As a matter of fact, I have not read this one. It was a popular novel and a popular movie, but, unfortunately, I've not read it or seen it. Maybe I should catch up, huh? Happy Holidays!
