Describe a time when your moral values influenced the way you responded to an issue. What differences did you notice between your logical reasoning process and your moral reasoning process? What were the possible consequences or outcomes of your decision? (150-200)

Three years ago, a client came to the office for a refinance. As a mortgage broker, my gold entailed to close as many loans as possible, and ensuring that the client gets the best program on the market. After reviewing the client's file, I noticed that the loan was not going to be beneficial to him because he had a pre-payment penalty in the amount of $3,500 on his loan and he needed a cashout for $6,000.00. For that loan size, my fees would have been $4,000.00, in addition, to the title fees. It came to the point where my moral value has stopped me from doing this loan because it would have been beneficial to me but not to the client. My position was also, very logic, because sooner or later that will come back to hunt me. By addressing the issue to the client, I have proposed to him, several alternatives that would make sense and preventing him from making the biggest mistake in his life. I felt very good for not doing this loan because my moral value had stopped me from being a heartless person.

Thank you for using the Jiskha Homework Help Forum. In line one, "my gold" does not make sense to me. Could you have meant "my goad was to close, etc.?" A parallel construction would be better "and ensuring" should be whatever construction you decide on for the first part of the sentence. (for example "was to close and to ensure, etc." A comma is not necessary after "in addition. "has stopped" is the present tense along with the conditional; you might consider "sequence of tense." My position was "logical" = adjective required here. Not "to hunt" but undoubtedly "to haunt" at the end. Next, "alternatives that would make sense and prevent him, etc."

By sequence of tense the Present Perfect goes better with the Future ("has stopped me because it will" vs. "had stopped, Past Perfect, with Conditional = would have been, etc."
