Dear Admissions Committee,

I am writing to request re-admission to the University of Goroka, School of Science and Technology, in the Environmental Science Program after my period of exclusion. I understand the reasons for my exclusion and take full responsibility for my past academic performance. I am committed to making meaningful changes and believe that I can contribute positively to the school environment if given the chance to return.

During my time away from school, I have reflected on my past mistakes and the factors that affected my academic difficulties. The main reasons for my exclusion were my struggles in the advanced chemistry course, CHE 431, and the biology course, B1335. For CHE 431, I did not take chemistry courses in Years 2 and 3, which made it hard for me to understand the concepts and pass the course. Additionally, I did not get enough guidance from course advisors about taking extra chemistry courses in previous years, which hurt my understanding of the subject.

For B1335, I signed up for the course three weeks late because I first enrolled in Biotechnology and attended that class. Later, I was assigned to BI 335, which caused me to fall behind on the lectures and ultimately led to my failure in that course. I am eager to learn from my past mistakes and am willing to put in the effort needed to improve my academic performance. I hope you will consider the challenges I faced and the genuine effort I am ready to make in order to improve my grades.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Sincerely,

Dear Admissions Committee,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request re-admission to the University of Goroka, School of Science and Technology, in the Environmental Science Program, following my recent exclusion.

I fully acknowledge the academic challenges that led to my exclusion, specifically my underperformance in both Analytical Chemistry and Plant Physiology. I take complete responsibility for my past mistakes, and I have spent considerable time reflecting on the factors that contributed to these academic difficulties.

Throughout my previous studies, I encountered significant challenges in grasping the foundational concepts necessary for success in these courses. I realize now that my understanding of advanced chemistry was compromised due to my decision not to take essential prerequisite courses in earlier years. I should have sought guidance to better plan my course load and ensure a solid grounding in all relevant subjects.

My struggles in Plant Physiology further compounded my difficulties, as I experienced setbacks related to late enrollment and inadequate preparation. I now understand that these issues affected my ability to keep pace with the rest of the class and ultimately led to my failure to meet the academic requirements.

During my time away from the university, I have committed myself to addressing these gaps in my knowledge and skills. I have spent this period rigorously studying the content of both courses to reinforce my understanding and better prepare myself for a successful return to the program. I am dedicated to demonstrating my renewed commitment to my studies and achieving the academic standards expected of me.

I am sincerely seeking the opportunity to return to the University of Goroka and contribute positively to the academic environment. I believe that with the lessons I have learned, I can overcome my previous challenges and succeed in my studies.

Thank you for considering my request for re-admission. I appreciate your time and understanding and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
