A particle start from rest and moves with a constant acceleration of 0.5ms.calculate the time taken by the particle to cover a distance of 25m

v = initial velocity Vi + a * t
x = initial position Xi + Vi t + (1/2) a t^2
here Vi = 0 given
distance = x - Xi = (1/2) a t^2
25 = (1/2) (0.5) t^2
100 = t^2
t = 10 seconds
