How do you say great-great-great granfparents in french? is it arriere arriere arriere and whatever granfparents was in french?

great grandparents = les arrière-grands-parents

What about "ancestors?" les ancêtres

P.S. Why couldn't you say:
les parents de mes arrière-grands-parents

les grandparents de mes arrière-grands-parents

les arrière-grands-parents de mes arrière-grands-parents

???

you would just add another "arrières"
