I guess maybe you mean:

1/(x+3) - 2/(x-2) = 5/(x+3)
multiply by [(x+3)(x-2)]
(x-2) -2(x+3) = 5(x-2)

x - 2 - 2 x - 6 = 5 x - 10

2 = 6 x

x =1/3
