2e= 4e-16

Add 16 to both sides.
Subtract 2e from both sides.

16 = 2e

16/2 = e

8 = e
2e = 4e -16
-4e -4e
-2e=-16
/-2 /-2
e=8
2e= 4e-16
-4e=-4e-16 cancel out the 4e
-2e=-16 Divide by -2

e=8
