Choose two authors from the early American and colonial period. identify what they wrote and, in one to three paragraphs, compare their purpose, audience, and style.

I'm not sure exactly how specific this is supposed to be, but here are two from that time period.

John Winthrop (1588-1649): Winthrop was a Puritan who sailed from England to what is modern day New England. He served as governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony for many years. Winthrop kept a detailed journal of the happenings in New England. He also wrote the sermon, "A Model of Christian Charity," which basically said that the Puritans of New England needed to be an example of how to live a Godly life.

Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758): Edwards was a preacher in New England. He is probably most famous for his sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." The sermon is a good example of the thinking of the Great Awakening, and gives vivid depictions of hell.
This is pegged by your Connections Academy teacher. I don't recommend copying this for that Unit 1 test.

Answered by Sangwoo
damn we all out here cheating huh
not to @ sangwoo or anything but like... imagine putting your name as psychopath who is also a serially murderer, r/apist, and kidnapper, from an insanely problematic manga (that uses r/ape, CSA, and self-harm just for plot oof) that not only romanticizes, but also fetishizes, all of the following: r/ape, murder, kidnapping, a/buse and s/talking. that manga is just a/buse apologism and BPD stigma perpetuation... i mean like if you like it as a psychological thriller...? it... depends on if you can recognize the issues with it

Robert Beverley:
* another wealthy planter and author of The History and Present State of Virginia(1705, 1722)
* he records the history of the Virginia colony in a humane and vigorous style.
* he admired the Indians and remarked on the strange European superstitions about Virginia like the belief "that the country turns all people black who go there."

Anne Bradstreet
* The first American woman to first publish a book of poems.
* Born and educated in England, Anne Bradstreet was the daughter of an earl's estate manager.
* She became the wife of the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which later grew into the great city of Boston.
* She preferred her long, religious poems on conventional subjects such as the seasons, but contemporary readers most enjoy the witty poems on subjects from daily life and her warm and loving poems to her husband and children.

Bruh are ya'll serious? No wonder I noticed a question that was trademarked from 2009 or 2012. I thought I was the only one stressing my butt out because I didn't understand the question. These questions always felt kind of boring and old fashioned for some reason. Like if they were from the years 2010-2015. Turns out I was right. The answer provided by "It be like that" can be found on the brainly website. I am going to start cheating because I am tired of stressing my butt out trying to understand the questions when all I have to do is search them up.
yo wtf, love how ppl still using this in 2020. also ty for making an attempt for an answer. will in fact use 030

Spider-Man lamented that teachers don't actually teach him. How many LiveLessons did he go to? Did he watch the review where we went over it all together? Did he call his teacher and ask for help at any time?

It doesn't help us OR you if you don't learn anything but we don't know you don't know unless you tell us you're struggling. I get you wanting to get a fast answer if you haven't been reading or coming to lessons, but you can't blame us if you never actually *tried* to get help.

You can call me DURING the test and tell me that you don't understand a question. You can access your notes or the *actual* textbook where the answers live. You can't come to some random answer website and pretend that you're trying to do anything other than take the easy way out.

I *want* to help you feel successful in this. Please come see me in LiveLesson or give me a call or just watch the recordings where we review this information.
Yesssss after 8 years we finally got the answers, LOL
Answered by Nunya
Cca is honestly such a pain to navigate through. Also not very time friendly becuase it’s so hard to navigate through. Live lessons are barley any help and talking to teachers via phone also doesn’t help cause they ask you a question and you just sit there like (-.-).. and when you dont respond they ask again and have to actually admit that your dumb. No matter how many notes I take notes and/ or talk to a teacher nothing helps. ( taking notes is a joke on this bc I could write down literally everything and it won’t be there)

To that other teacher, you know that some of us are too introverted or socially nervous to regularly do things like that, right? Don't try to blame others for your own failing system, the general fact that that extra crap is even NEEDED should be enough to tell you that this school isn't very good at actually teaching things.

I'm just glad to see I'm not alone in having to do this sort of stuff, lol.
soooo anyone here in may lol 💃
