let the angle be x
then its complement is 90-x
its supplement is 180-x
180-x = 12 + 2(90-x)
180-x = 12 + 180 - 2x
x = 12
the angle is 12°
check:
if angle is 12°, its complement is 78°
and its supplement is 168°
what is 12 more than twice 78 ?
2(78) + 12 = 168
which is the supplement !
