if a plane is traveling at an altitude of 11.9 miles and is 46 miles from the airport and is descending at a 12 degree angle, what is the mph to the airport?

11.9/46 = tan 14.5°

Why is the plane descending at an angle of 12°?

It's going to overshoot the airport!
