Solving for k:
E=km
300=k(48)
Divide both side by 48
300/48=k(48)/48
Then cancel out
300/48=k
k=6.25

Solving for m:
E:km
Just substitute the given values
65=6.25(m)
65=6.25m
Divide both side by 6.25
65/6.25= 6.25m/6.25
Cancel out
65/6.25=m
