one could say
8/3 = 12/height
h(8/3) = 12
h = (12x3)/8
h = 4.5
or use trigonometry and say
sinX= 3/8
X = (1/sin)3/8
X = 22.02 which is the angle of the incline
so
sin(22.02) = h/12
12sin(22.02) = 4.5
8/3 = 12/height
h(8/3) = 12
h = (12x3)/8
h = 4.5
or use trigonometry and say
sinX= 3/8
X = (1/sin)3/8
X = 22.02 which is the angle of the incline
so
sin(22.02) = h/12
12sin(22.02) = 4.5
