Find the area of the region between the curve y^2=4x and the line x=3.

the curves intersect at (3,√12) and (3,-√12)

So, the area is just

∫[-√12,√12] 3-x dy
= ∫[-√12,√12] 3 - y^2/4 dy
and that should be a cinch
