C = pi * d

272.2 = pi * d

272.2/pi = d

use 3.14 for pi

272 = 3 * 2r
272 = 6r
272/6 = r
45 = r

I understand it now , but my choice answers none are 45? I followed your steps and got the same answer as you.
But your calculations are right.

Choices are :

43.3 in.
136.1 in.
86.7 in.
5887.2 in

So not sure why ?

Ugghh!

Of course you're right, but I don't like the answer choices with decimals. In my opinion, estimates should not involve decimals.
