A room measures 12 feet by 12 feet. A couch is 10 feet and 6 inches long. If you center the couch in the middle of the room, how far will each end of the couch be from the nearest wall?

12 feet = 11 feet, 12 inches
11'12" - 10'6" = 1'6" = 18"
18/2 = 9 inches
