since 1.25 * 4.20 = 5.25, I'd say no.

5.70 = 4.20 + 1.50

but 1.50 is 1/4 of 6.00, not 1/4 of 4.20

1/4 of 4.20 is $1.05

How did you arrive at $5.70?
