I have a math question for my cell biology class. A molecule exchanges places with its neighbor every 10^-7 seconds. It will diffuse from one end of a 2 micrometer cell to the other in 1second. Ok now I have a 6M x 6M room filled with 4cm ping pong balls. I have to determine the rate of speed they are moving and how long it will take to move from one end of the room to the other. I have no idea how to set this up.
