                I have a question.
For Fe|Fe^+2 (1M)| Cu|Cu^+2 (1M
why did you use Fe^2+ ==> Fe^3+ + e Eo = -0.771 ?
instead of: Fe ---> Fe^+2 + 2e ?
thank you..

    I have used the Fe^2+ ==> Fe^3+ + e so many times it is force of habit. I just screwed up. It should be Fe ==> Fe^2+ + e. But note that I would write the cell as
Fe|Fe^2+(1M) || Cu^2+(1M)|Cu

Fe|Fe^2+(1M) || Cu^2+(1M)|Cu
