I need help with this question. Thanks!
A 12-kg monkey (9.8 N is exerted on 1 kg) is hanging from two branches. The angles that the monkey’s arms make with the horizontal are 75° and 50°. Determine the magnitude of tension in each arm, rounded to the nearest one decimal.

T1up= T1 sin 75
T2up = T2 sin 50
T1up + T2up = 12*9.8
so
.966 T1+ .766T2 = 118
T1hor = -T1 cos 75
T2hor = T2 cos 50
T1hor + T2hor = 0
so
-.259 T1 + .643 T2 = 0
solve the two equations for T1 and T2
T2up = T2 sin 50
T1up + T2up = 12*9.8
so
.966 T1+ .766T2 = 118
T1hor = -T1 cos 75
T2hor = T2 cos 50
T1hor + T2hor = 0
so
-.259 T1 + .643 T2 = 0
solve the two equations for T1 and T2
