Hey. I was wondering if you could help me....
what are the main reasons Ireland has had a troubled relationship w/ great Britain?
how many years after the northern invasion did Henry II declare himself lord of Ireland?
how many years passed between the end of the Irish rebellion and the beginning of peace talks?
1) Ireland, while close to the rest of the united kingdom, is not physically connected to it. This may have been one reason great Britain was less successful in incorporating Ireland into the united kingdom. religious differences have added to the troubled relationship.
2) 105 years
3) 73 years
am i right? Thanks to any and all help. Have a good day!!
