The distance frm the waterline to the top depends upon the shape of the iceberg. Perhaps you are refering to a planar ice floe with a uniform thickness. If so, the question should have been worded that way

I think the density of the iceberg is 900 kg/m^3. So how would I set up the problem to solve it?

They use an iceberg debnsity of 917 kg/m^3 It can vary from iceberg to iceberg, since there are some air pockets and bubbles inside.
