A stone is dropped from rest at the top of a tall building. Determine the distance the ball has traveled after ½ second, one second, 3/2 seconds, and 2 seconds. How fast is the ball moving at the end of the 2 seconds?

d = (1/2) g t^2 = 4.9 t^2
if t = 1/2 for example
d = 4.9/4 = 1.225 meters
to get speed
v = g t = 9.8 t
if t = 2 seconds
v = 19.6 meters/second
if t = 1/2 for example
d = 4.9/4 = 1.225 meters
to get speed
v = g t = 9.8 t
if t = 2 seconds
v = 19.6 meters/second
