the perimeter of a rectangle is 12 c.m and its length is 4 c.m . what is its width? and the area?

P = 2L + 2W

A = LW

width - 2 cm: length + length = 8 cm there are 4 cm left, 4 divided by 2 = 2
area - 8 like ms.sue said
area = length x width,
perimeter= 2length x 2width
