in an isosceles triange with base angles at (0,0) and (7,0), how do I find the coordinates of the 3rd angle?

since all you provide is the length of the base, there is no way to determine the other angle.

All you know is that the vertex lies somewhere on the perpendicular bisector of the base: the line x=3.5
