A 95,000kg spaceship, moving at 0.34 m/s, wants to dock at a 75000kg satellite that is moving towards it. If the final speed to the joined spacecraft is -0.66 m/s, find the initial speed of the satellite.

Those speeds are unrealistically low for satellites, which move at many km per seciond. What coordinate system are you using as the rest frame?

I suppose they want you to use conservation of momentum. The problem needs to be better defined.
