a. d1 = d2,
1.5(t+10) = 0.5*0.5t^2,
1.5t + 15 = 0.25t^2,
-0.25t^2 + 1.5t + 15 = 0,
Use Quad.Formula to find t and get:
t = 11.3s.
b. d = 1.5(11.3+10) = 32m.
1.5(t+10) = 0.5*0.5t^2,
1.5t + 15 = 0.25t^2,
-0.25t^2 + 1.5t + 15 = 0,
Use Quad.Formula to find t and get:
t = 11.3s.
b. d = 1.5(11.3+10) = 32m.
