Question

Find all solutions to
x^4 + 3x^2 = 4x^3 + 1

Y = x^4 - 4x^3 + 3x^2 - 1 = 0.

We have 3 solutions(roots):

X = sqrt(3)/3 = 0.57735.
X = -sqrt(3)/3 = -0.57735.
X = 3.0521.

The Eq can be solved by finding a value
of X that results in zero for Y. But
this is a tedious task when X is irational. So I solved it using EXCEL
spread sheets.
