86.1g H2SO4 = 0.88 moles so the solution is 0.88moles/0.494L = about 1.80M, then
mL1 x M1 = mL2 x M2
Actually, there is a much shorter way to solve this if you recognize that 86.1 g H2SO4 = all of the moles H2SO4 in the new solution. So M = moles/L and rearrange to L = moles/M = (86.1/98)/0.18 = ??L
