Question

The density of gold is 19.3 x 10^3 kg/m^3. What buoyant force does a .6 kg gold crown experience when it is immersed in water?

B=m_water*g
=p_water*v_water*g
=p_water*v_gold*g

and to find v_gold =m/density
and from there would p_water =1000kg/m^3?
