How would you factor this problem? I keep getting stuck.
x^2+2xy+2x+y^2+2y-8

x^2+2xy+2x+y^2+2y-8 can be rewritten
x^2+2xy+y^2 + 2x+2y-8
=(x+y)^2 + 2(x+y-4) OR
= [(x+y)(x+y+2] -8)
