I am not certain what the question is. Assuming it is to find k
-1/4k>18
multiply both sides by 4k
-1>72k
divide both sides by 72
-1/72>k or
k<-1/72 so k is negative, from -1/72 to - infinity.

-infinity is the most negative number you can comprehend, less one more.
