a metre length of cable is cut into 3 strips and the first strip is 3.42 and the second strip was 0.75
how long would the 3rd strip be ?

1 metre = 100 cm

if the two strips that you give without units are 3.42 cm and 0.75 cm then the third strip is 100 - 3.42 - .75
